On April 11th 2017, the earth will tremble as the hellacious 2018 Dodge Durango SRT debuts in the heart of the Chicago Auto Show.

On that day, American muscle beefs up to seat the whole family in a ride that can do 0 to 60 in just 4.4 seconds.

In fact, Tim Kuniskis, chief of Dodge, calls the 2018 Dodge Durango SRT the fastest three row vehicle to enter the market. The car itself is simply the Dodge Durango SUV with the oomph of an SRT.

SRT stands for Street & Racing Technology—it’s the variance of Dodge vehicles that are built to perform above the rest. The Dodge Durango SRT is separated from the standard model in its engine.

It’s all muscle and although it’s family size, this V8 engine isn’t exactly family friendly—do you want to teach your 15 year old how to drive with an SRT?

We didn’t think so.

Next fall when the Dodge Durango SRT comes out, you’ll have seven modes of drive to look forward to: Street, Track, Sport, Snow, Tow, Eco, and Valet.

Each mode is designated to fulfill a different driving fantasy. What each specific mode will do we don’t know, you’ll just have to wait until April 11th to find out.

The countdown starts now.
