2021 Dodge Durango Engine Power
We're thrilled to announce the 2021 Dodge Durango adds a new, high-powered engine to its lineup. You've seen the supercharged 6.2L HEMI® Hellcat V8 engine on Dodge sports cars, and now this exciting engine is making an appearance on the 2021 Durango SRT Hellcat trim.
It will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and produce 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque. It can also go from 0 to 60 MPH in just 3.5 seconds under the right conditions. Not to mention, the National Hot Rod Association certified the Durango SRT Hellcat can travel a quarter mile in just 11.5 seconds.
It's not just fast, though-it's also highly capable. This SUV will be able to tow up to 8,700 pounds when properly equipped, giving it a best-in-class distinction for 3-row SUVs.

Several updates come with the exterior of the Durango, too. The 2021 Durango will return with the same muscular body and aggressive style you love, but it will also feature a more forward-leaning profile that hints at its sporty capabilities.
The front end features slimmer LED headlamps that give the Durango a more intimidating stare as it squares off against its competition. Then, you'll get an elevated, wide-body stance thanks to the 20-by-8-inch or 20-by-10-inch wheels in colors like Fine Silver, Satin Carbon, Lights Out, or Black Noise.
Dodge Durango Interior
Inside the cabin of the 2021 Dodge Durango, you'll find a newly revamped center stack that features an available 10.1-inch touchscreen display. This display will angle an extra seven degrees toward the driver so you can easily see information coming from the available Uconnect 5 infotainment system.
This Uconnect 5 infotainment system will come with TomTom navigation, Sirius XM® Radio, wireless Apple CarPlay®, and wireless Android Auto™.
Depending on the trim level you choose, your cabin will have enough room for five passengers or seven passengers with the optional third row.
Durango Smart Safety Technologies
The 2021 Dodge Durango makes everything more modern, and that includes its safety features. With a full suite of standard and available driver-assistive features with this SUV, like:
- Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop
- Advanced Brake Assist
- LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist
You'll also have the help of Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking. This system helps mitigate potential forward collisions by alerting you to hazards up ahead. It can also automatically apply the brakes for you, if necessary, to help avoid an impact.Â
