Jeep Cherokee Latitude, Freedom, Latitude Plus, and Altitude

The Jeep Cherokee trim levels begin with the Latitude, the Freedom, the Latitude Plus, and the Altitude. Each trim has been designed with similar attributes and safety features in mind.
Some of these common features are a 15.8-gallon fuel tank, 60/40 split folding rear seats, ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera, and LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist. You'll also have plenty of cargo space with 54.7 cubic feet of cargo volume.
These Jeep Cherokee trims come equipped with a 2.4L Tigershark® MultiAir® 2 I-4 engine that produces 180 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque. These trims also achieve an EPA-estimated 22 city/31 highway MPG.
Jeep Cherokee Latitude Lux
As you move up the line of trim levels, you get more power under the hood. This starts with the Jeep Cherokee Latitude Lux trim.
This trim comes equipped with a 3.2L Pentastar® V6 engine with Engine Stop/Start (ESS) technology. This engine delivers 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque.
This engine also provides the capability to tow up to 4,500 pounds when properly equipped and is available on the 80th Anniversary, the Limited, and the Trailhawk trims.
In addition to this engine, you can also upgrade to the 2.0L Turbo engine with ESS, available on all of the trim levels from the Latitude Lux to the Trailhawk. This engine provides a maximum towing capacity of 4,000 pounds when properly equipped.
The Latitude Lux and the following trim levels also include standard heated front seats for additional comfort.
Jeep Cherokee 80th Anniversary
The Jeep Cherokee 80th Anniversary trim provides many of the similar features as earlier trim, along with a unique look.
Some of the features you'll get to enjoy with the Jeep Cherokee 80th Anniversary trim include Granite Crystal grille surrounds, exterior Badging, and rear fascia appliqué.
Jeep Cherokee Limited
The Jeep Cherokee Limited trim is next on the list and adds to the luxury driving experience that you get.
It includes a standard 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen, giving you a larger screen to access all of the entertainment and informative features you need for a smooth ride.
The Limited trim also comes with a Remote Start System, allowing you to get the vehicle running and heated up or cooled down before you've even stepped outside to begin your travels.
Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk
 For a better off-roading experience, the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk trim can be the right choice for you. This trim level provides you with the tools necessary to take on any terrain smoothly.
You get skid plates, an off-road suspension, and the Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System with the Trailhawk. This feature allows you to drive over all kinds of terrain, from mud and gravel to rocks and uneven roads.
In addition, you get available Jeep Active Drive Lock, the only Jeep Cherokee trim to come with this feature.
Jeep Cherokee High Altitude
The previously mentioned 20.L Turbo engine comes standard in the Jeep Cherokee High Altitude. This is the trim level that can provide you with more technology and performance than ever before.
Inside the Jeep Cherokee High Altitude, you'll find standard Uconnect® 4C NAV with an 8.4-inch touchscreen. The High Altitude trim is also the only Jeep Cherokee trim to offer you standard navigation capabilities.
For added sound quality, you can take advantage of the Alpine® Premium Audio System, which comes standard on the High Altitude and the Limited trims and is available on the rest.
