On front-wheel drive models with the base engine, the Renegade will achieve up to an EPA-estimated 22 city/30 highway MPG. That highway mileage will be especially useful as you seek out sites that may be further from home.
For 4-wheel drive configurations, you will see up to an EPA-estimated 21 city/29 highway MPG for the base engine. So, you'll still enjoy similar MPG numbers, with the added benefit of 4-wheel drive.
The available engine found in the higher trim levels can achieve up to an EPA-estimated 23 city/29 highway MPG in a 4-wheel drive model. The highest trim level, Trailhawk, achieves an EPA-estimated 22 city/27 highway, with the same engine and 4-wheel drive configuration.
Performance of Jeep Renegade
 On the 2.4-liter base engine, the horsepower of the Jeep Renegade reaches up to 180 HP. It will also be able to provide up to 175 lb-ft of torque.
For added power, you can upgrade to the available 1.3-liter turbo engine that delivers up to 177 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. Choosing this engine allows you to tow up to 2,000 pounds when properly equipped and offers an available Class III hitch.
The two highest trim levels come standard with the Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System. With Auto, Snow, Sport, and Sand/Mud settings, you will feel more prepared when going to different locations. Rock Mode can be found on the Trailhawk trim for bumpier rides.
