Air Bag Warning Light
The Air Bag Warning Light is red and consists of a passenger wearing a seat belt juxtaposed with an inflated air bag. It will turn on for about four to eight seconds every time you start your truck.
If it doesn't go away or if it shows up while you're driving, there could be an issue with the air bag system. It will need to be checked out immediately.
Brake Warning Light
If the brake fluid is low, there's something wrong with the anti-lock brake system, the parking brake is on, or the Brake Booster is malfunctioning.
The word BRAKE will appear on the dashboard in red letters. Unless the parking brake is in use, be sure to take your vehicle to a certified technician to get to the bottom of the situation.
Battery Charge Warning Light
The Battery Charge Warning Light is easy to recognize due to the fact that it looks like a standard car battery. This is another red one.
It will come on in the event there is a malfunction somewhere in the charging system. It could mean that the battery is not charging properly or the electrical system has developed an issue. Seek assistance as soon as possible.
Oil Pressure Warning Light
If you see a red symbol that looks like an oil can with a drop of oil pouring out of the spout, you're being warned that your Ram 2500 is running low on oil pressure.
Pull over, shut off the truck, and call for assistance as soon as you can.
Low Fuel Warning Light
The Low Fuel Warning Light is yellow and looks like a traditional fuel pump. It will try to get your attention when there are roughly 3.2 gallons of fuel left in the tank.
The light will be accompanied by an audio chime and will stay on until you get more fuel.Â
